Ready to start building a career?

The Herdina Construction Trades Camp is on for summer 2025 on our Moorhead campus. High school students age 15+ will be eligible to register.

Try out the trades

From 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day of camp, you'll get hands-on experience and classroom instruction in a variety of specialty occupations within the residential and commercial construction industry. Work side-by-side with contractors and other industry professionals to learn about occupations, tools, safety requirements and skills required for a rewarding career in the construction trades.

Get a chance at a scholarship

Everyone who applies will automatically be eligible to receive a scholarship from M State or the North Dakota State College of Science, with the winners announced on camp graduation day.
